Machu Picchu, One of the Seven World Wonders






Machu Picchu is one of the new Seven World Wonders, situated on a Mountain ridge in Peru located 2,430 metres above sea Level. It was build around 1450, on top of Inca Empire. Machu Picchu is one of the most important archaeological sites in South America. It is also decleared one of the most visited tourist attractions in all of Latin America and the most visited tourist attraction in Peru. Weather of the Location is acceptable, one can expect rain at any time of the year. It is also referred as "The lost city the Incas". A visit to Peru cannot be completed until you visit Machu Picchu.

Machu Picchu was a place hidden from the world till 1911, these ruins were found again on a wet day in 1911 when a conquistador found it. From then till now, its decleared one of the most beautiful places on earth. It is also declared a Peruvian Historical Sanctuary as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

If hiking is your passion and you are financially strong then you must visit Machu Picchu once in your Life.
